will be most dutifull to yow & by gods grace to amed my
misspent tyme & lead the rest of my life in such a civill
manner that shall be bothe pleasinge to God & noe thinge
att all distastfull to yow, or any of my frend{es}s: tyme paste
can hardly be recalled & it is neuer to late to doe well
I knowe S.r it is my duty to honor & obeye yow my parents, & I
pray God I may no long.r live then to expresse my duty
to yow & my mother: not onely in woord, but allsoe in
deed. Though you.r iust displeashure att mee, may bee a motive
against my submission; yet I beseech yow to don this my

loste sone to mercy and thincke vppon mee with ^the eye of pitty and copassion
and not accordinge to my desert. With homble and harty
desier of yow.res and my mothers blessing{es} I humbly take

Y.r. euer dutyfull &
obedient sonne
