Right worshippfull Maie it please yow to vnderstand
That in the Prisonne of her Maiesties Benche there
are onlie Two prisonners, of whom I am to infourme
your worshipps: Thone named Thomas Clyfton
preeste. The other called Edwarde Risheton a preeste
also. The said Clyfton was committed into my custody
by the Iudges of the Court of her Maiesties benche from the
highe barre the xiith daie of Aprill laste paste: in case of ^premunire
The said Risheton was committed to my charge the
xiiiith of Novembre Laste paste by the said Iudges from the
said Court, and is one of the Compaynie that were condemned
with Campion at the highe barre in Michaelmas terme laste for
treason. Other prisonners in my custodie in the
said Benche, are none, for or concerninge matter of religion
in anie wise. And soe I take my leave: ffrom my
lodging in the Prysonne of the benche this presente the xith
of Marche 1581.
