Sir I haue written a lettre to Sir Walter harecot a litle to put
him in remembrance of his promise that at the furthest
I should be paid the begyning of this michelmas terme
I pray you to send one with it to him & to request
his answer/. my partner and I are to thanke you for your
hops which will stand hir in stede for here it cost her
at bishops costell viid the pound/. Newes from London
my partner hard that all her ffrindes there are well
But that her neighbor and good ffrind. Mr

we haue no Newes but all the contry in great quiet
and health. but the wether is verie changeable
for harvest, and the harvest Late otes in most
places not gote in. Thus not having els with
duties remembred from euery bodie here I committ
you and yours to the tuicion of thalmightie not forgetting
comendacions to yourself my mother Nant Letice. &
blessinges to Nob Mall and Lill. this ixth of September
