I am required to be a commissioner tomorrow at Lichfield Upon an inquiry
out of the Exchequer for recusants. Warrant is q granted unto
the sheriff of this County to empanel a Jury and the place
appointed by Mr Leigh is Lichfield I pray your opinion
whether any such inquiry be good in law being taken in
another County and whether there be authority in the
sheriff to summon a jury thither for there appearance. I have
no mind to the business and would willingly have a cleanly
shift to avoid it.
Yours assured
Walter Bagot
